The field of Mathematics predates the birth of Christ. Through history, mathematical principles are used in the creation of witty inventions in science, engineering and almost all technology. Mathematics birthed equations which became principles. Some equations, like E=mc2, have been etched in stone. Similarly, the christian faith strive on timed tested principles. They are not to be violated but worked out. Today, I would be sharing some of those principles that can contribute to our success journey on earth. I learnt them in church and I translated them into equations. I call them “Kingdomatics”. I would explain the equations and the results they produce. Be blessed.
Equation 1: God’s Power + Man’s Faith = Miracle
…The just shall live by his faith (Habakkuk 2:4). The quality of life of a believer and the frequency of divine experience in his life are determined by faith. In the New Testament NT, a lots of miracle happen when somebody exercised faith in the divine power of God. Faith was exercised in many ways through obedience, request, prayer or believing in a word. This is established as a pattern for us to imitate. God’s power is ever available and potent to be accessed by faith. Only then can miracle can be experienced! You need a miracle? Get faith through hearing the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (NKJV Romans 10:17). New English Translation puts it simpler. ”Consequently faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the preached word of Christ.” So hear until you have faith for what you are asking for!
Equation 2: Divine Protection + Human Restriction = Safety
The commitment of divine protection over the believer is conspicuous through the Scriptures. Psalm 121, Psalm 23, Psalm 91, Matthew 28:20, Romans 8:31, Hebrews 13:5-6, etc. They are numerous to mention. However, the safety of the believer requires his/her active contributions to keep him/herself safe. He/she is to take practical steps that would not endanger his/her life. For instance, driving below the speed limit is one of the many practical steps. These would ensure long life that is promised in the scriptures.
Equation 3: Power to Prosper + Work = Human Wealth
Many people labour hard in life and they have little to show for it. And this leaves many confused. The reason is that the divine touch is missing in their effort. Deuteronomy 8:18 provides the answer “You shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth” Also Proverbs 10:22 “The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it” The power of God is the divine factor in this equation. With this ability, a man’s labour yield exponential results. On the other hand, this power cannot work on its own. Don’t assume God would release wealth without your effort. It is against his principle! The equation would be unbalanced. “…If anyone is not willing to work, neither should he eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10)
Equation 4: Anointing – Character = Self-Destruction
If a believer that carries the grace of God does not develop his personal character, he is doom to fail sooner or later. Bad character with the anointing is tantamount to cancer in the bone. It eats up the life of the person. Samson is a good example of this. He had the grace but no character which lead to the abortion of God’s deliverance for the Israelites. Character would determine how far the grace of God would find expression in the life of a believer.
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge; to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness; to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish love. For if these things are really yours and are continually increasing, they will keep you from becoming ineffective and unproductive in your pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ more intimately. (2 Peter 1:5-8)
Dearest, my goal is that we all would learn from these kingdomatics and apply them to create a super awesome christian experience. Till next week, live the best for God.
